Part of the Université de Tours (formerly the Université François-Rabelais), the Faculty of Musicology offers a comprehensive curriculum covering music theory and history, as well as instrumental and vocal practice. Students benefit from a multidisciplinary approach, combining musicology, cultural heritage and new technologies. Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees are offered, with a wide range of career opportunities in teaching, research, cultural mediation and music production. The school works closely with regional cultural players to promote professional immersion and encounters with renowned artists.
