The main tasks of the EN3S are to select and develop the skills of social protection managers, to promote international cooperation in the field in the form of transfers of expertise or specific training cycles, and to contribute to collective knowledge about social protection and the operators who manage it through research programmes. Through its Specialized Institute (IHEPS), the EN3S also promotes and disseminates a culture of social protection to French opinion leaders.
