Categories of Data Collected and Sources

GLOBAL EXPLOITATION processes the following categories of personal data: identification data (last names, first names, dates of birth, etc.), contact data (email addresses, postal addresses, telephone numbers, etc.), personal life information (marital status, housing preferences, etc.), professional life information (student or working profile, company name, financial resources, etc.), data relating to reservations and payments, as well as data relating to the qualifications and experience of job applicants.

The information collected by GLOBAL EXPLOITATION that is necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes is identified by an asterisk on the collection forms. If you do not complete these mandatory fields, GLOBAL EXPLOITATION may not be able to provide the relevant service.

Your data are collected directly by GLOBAL EXPLOITATION or may have been transmitted to us by our commercial partners.

Data Recipients

Your personal data are primarily communicated to / accessible by the Commercial & Marketing Department, the Information Systems Department, the Finance Department, and the Human Resources Department of GLOBAL EXPLOITATION.

Your personal data may be communicated to third parties, partners and/or subcontractors of GLOBAL EXPLOITATION (for example for hosting and IT maintenance purposes) for the purposes set out in this Policy. Subcontractors acting on the instructions of GLOBAL EXPLOITATION will be required to implement appropriate protective measures.

If certain third parties are located in countries whose regulations do not necessarily offer the same level of protection as that of the Member States of the European Union, GLOBAL EXPLOITATION will ensure that such transfers are carried out in accordance with the provisions imposed by French regulations (such as the implementation of contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission or adherence to the PRIVACY SHIELD in the United States). You may contact our DPO to obtain further information on these matters as well as a copy of the relevant documents.

We may be required by law to disclose your personal data to certain authorities or other third parties, for example to the law enforcement authorities of the country where we, or third parties acting on our behalf, operate. We may also disclose and process your personal data in accordance with applicable law in order to defend our legitimate interests, for example in the event of civil or criminal legal proceedings.

Retention Period

The personal data processed by GLOBAL EXPLOITATION are retained for the time necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes in accordance with applicable regulations.

For example:

  • Data relating to commercial prospecting are retained for three years from the date of the last contact;
  • Data relating to clients are retained for the duration of the contract plus the applicable statutory limitation period;
  • Data relating to unpaid amounts are retained until the amicable settlement of the dispute or, failing that, until the expiry of the statutory limitation period for legal action.

Your Rights

You have rights in accordance with the applicable regulations:

  • You have the right to request access to and rectification of your personal data.
  • You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data (i) if you contest the accuracy of your data for the period enabling us to verify their accuracy, (ii) if you consider that we are unlawfully processing your data and you request a restriction of their use rather than erasure, (iii) if we no longer need your data for the purposes referred to above but they are still necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of your legal claims, (iv) if you exercise your right to object during the verification period as to whether the legitimate grounds we pursue prevail over yours.
  • You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. In the event of a request for deletion of your data, GLOBAL EXPLOITATION may nevertheless retain them in the form of intermediate archiving for the period necessary to comply with its legal, accounting and tax obligations.
  • You have the right to exercise your right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate grounds.
  • You also have the right to object to commercial prospecting, without having to provide any reason.
  • You have the right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing which produces legal effects concerning you or significantly affects you.
  • You have the right to exercise your right to data portability, which entitles you to obtain a copy of your data or to transfer them to a third party in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
  • You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time where the processing requires your consent. However, the withdrawal of your consent may, in practice and depending on the circumstances, affect your relationship with GLOBAL EXPLOITATION.
  • You also have the right to provide specific or general instructions regarding the retention, erasure and communication of your personal data after your death. General instructions (relating to all personal data concerning the data subject) may be registered with a trusted digital third party certified by the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority). Specific instructions must be sent to GLOBAL EXPLOITATION.

Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time, with or without prior notice. In such case, the update date of the Privacy Policy will be revised and will indicate the day on which the changes were made. Any substantial modification to the way in which GLOBAL EXPLOITATION processes your personal data will be indicated on the website by means of a visible notice.
